Dillon R
Silverton Oregon Crawlspace Remediation and Insulation

One of 3 estimates all in the same ballpark for removal/replacement of crawlspace insulation + vapor barrier and sump pump installation, Andrew with Valley Insulation was ultimately able to identify the cause of water under our house — a $40 solution to what was originally a $3500 problem, no sump pump needed!

Insulation and vapor barrier work was completed in a timely manner a few weeks ago and he was back today to inspect – dry as a whistle amid a day of downpours.

Thank you Andrew and your entire team!

Woodburn, Oregon Roof Vents and Attic Insulation

Valley Insulation assessed our situation, provided a detailed quote that described all the work they proposed, showed up on time, were very professional and they did an excellent job! Our crawlspace was a mess! Ductwork was down and disconnected, vapor barrier needed replacement and sealing, water in the crawlspace, wet, moldy duct insulation – we were heating our crawlspace. Valley Insulation did an excellent job for a great price! We are very pleased. We have had two other contractors in the crawlspace to do other work after Valley Insulation completed the job. Both of those contractors asked for Valley Insulation’s contact information so they can recommend them to everyone! I am a Realtor and I recommend them to all my clients too!

Wilsonville, Oregon Spray Foam Insulation and Weatherization

Andrew’s team (sorry, don’t remember their names), did a wonderful job on the wall insulation and sealed vapor barrier under the house. They were polite, professional and left the area clean when the job was done. Andrew is very polite, patient and knowledgeable. He spent time explaining things to me, which I greatly appreciated. I have already recommended Valley Insulation to several folks and would work with them again, for future needs.

Independence, Oregon Commercial Building and Home Insulation

Are you cold? Look no further for housing comfort! This place can help you figure out insulation needs to keep your house warm. Proper insulation will also keep your house cool in the summer time. The prices are very reasonable and staff are friendly and quick. From what I’ve been told, this is a family business. There’s no other way to help build the economy than to purchase products and/or services from a family generated business.
Oregon City Subfloor Vapor Barrier Water Damage Repairs and Replacement
Valley Insulation truly has the best interest of their clients in mind. During my first contact with them, I spoke to Andrew by phone and made a plan for how to address the concerns with our home. Rather than having an estimate, I scheduled for them to come out and complete the work. Andrew, Kevin and Rudi showed up on time and ready to go. They completed an analysis of my home to determine air flow and what improvements could be made to decrease draft. Prior to their visit I was provided an estimate for $750, based on the work that Andrew assumed would be needed based on our phone conversation. In the end, Andrew and his team provided me with a list of improvements that me and my family can do on our own, and only ended up charging us a fraction of the expected cost. I was impressed by their professionalism and desire to truly help my family make our home the most comfortable possible, even if it did not mean more business for them. I will definitely refer them to any friends looking for this type of work, and we’ll use them in in the future for any projects that come along.

Portland Oregon Weatherization, Sealing for air leaks
As both a long time customer ( my parents and then myself). I highly recommend them if you are a North Oregon resident. They offer free estimates, have friendly professional sales reps, and employees. They also offer a huge variety of insulation types to both suit your needs and budget. Whether it be home, shop, private or professional. Great estimates and speedy, high quality finishes if you choose them for your needs.

They are terrific I called others but never got a response they got right back to me and their price was wonderful.

Blew insulation in my walls for half the house. Will be calling to finish the rest of the house. Very nice clean and professional.

Very knowledgeable and planning on working with them in the future. Impressed by Mike’s professionalism and honest suggestions on when to spend $ on for the biggest best insulation improvement on a home built in 1949.

The worker came out and did a thorough inspection and described, in detail, the type and amount of insulation in our ceiling now. He did not see a need to increase it. Very good report by a trustworthy person! We were pleased and would hire them again if we needed anything related to insulation.

Insulating your home or business is the most fundamental addition your money can buy. It will help keep your space cooler in the summer, and warmer in the winter. We also have numerous tests we can perform on your home. These tests enable us to determine the excessive air leakage in your home or office and duct system. Don’t you want to know where your dollar bills are going?  After we have performed the proper testing we use caulk, foam sealant, weather stripping, door sweeps, electrical receptacle gaskets, etc. to seal cracks, gaps, and holes.  We focus around doors, windows, pipes and wiring that penetrate the ceiling and floor.  We make sure your air ducts are sealed using mastic paste.  Not having your air ducts sealed can account for 20% of heat loss.

Water And Animal Damage.

We commonly replace underfloor insulation after damage is caused by animals or water. Often in these cases we are able to insulate the home to a higher value than when the home was built.

As manufactured, FIBERGLAS ™ insulation is resistant to mold growth. However, mold growth can occur on building materials, including insulation, when it becomes contaminated with organic material and when water is present. To avoid mold growth on FIBERGLAS ™ insulation, remove any water that has accumulated and correct or repair the source of the water as soon as possible. Insulation that has become wet should be inspected for evidence of residual moisture and contamination, and any insulation that is contaminated should be promptly removed and replaced.
