One of 3 estimates all in the same ballpark for removal/replacement of crawlspace insulation + vapor barrier and sump pump installation, Andrew with Valley Insulation was ultimately able to identify the cause of water under our house — a $40 solution to what was originally a $3500 problem, no sump pump needed!
Insulation and vapor barrier work was completed in a timely manner a few weeks ago and he was back today to inspect – dry as a whistle amid a day of downpours.
Thank you Andrew and your entire team!

Woodburn, Oregon Roof Vents and Attic Insulation
Andrew’s team (sorry, don’t remember their names), did a wonderful job on the wall insulation and sealed vapor barrier under the house. They were polite, professional and left the area clean when the job was done. Andrew is very polite, patient and knowledgeable. He spent time explaining things to me, which I greatly appreciated. I have already recommended Valley Insulation to several folks and would work with them again, for future needs.

We offer installation and removal services for insulation. We can insulate your attic, walls, underfloor, and around your ductwork. Insulating your home or business is the most fundamental addition your money can buy. It will help keep your space cooler in the summer, and warmer in the winter. We also have numerous tests we can perform on your home. These tests enable us to determine the excessive air leakage in your home or office and duct system. Don’t you want to know where your dollar bills are going? After we have performed the proper testing we use caulk, foam sealant, weather stripping, door sweeps, electrical receptacle gaskets, etc. to seal cracks, gaps, and holes. We focus around doors, windows, pipes and wiring that penetrate the ceiling and floor. We make sure your air ducts are sealed using mastic paste. Not having your air ducts sealed can account for 20% of heat loss.
Water And Animal Damage.
We commonly replace underfloor insulation after damage is caused by animals or water. Often in these cases we are able to insulate the home to a higher value than when the home was built.

As manufactured, FIBERGLAS ™ insulation is resistant to mold growth. However, mold growth can occur on building materials, including insulation, when it becomes contaminated with organic material and when water is present. To avoid mold growth on FIBERGLAS ™ insulation, remove any water that has accumulated and correct or repair the source of the water as soon as possible. Insulation that has become wet should be inspected for evidence of residual moisture and contamination, and any insulation that is contaminated should be promptly removed and replaced.
